‘Paris Fashion Week Online’ Schedule Announced

How different will this year’s showcase be?

Set a reminder for July 9-13, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode just announced its official schedule for Paris Fashion Week Men’s Spring Spring/Summer 2021.

“Paris Fashion Week Online,” like many other virtual shows, will be aided through the use of technology including Launchmetrics, Google, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and Hylink. The fashion school Institue Français de la Mode has been preparing an assemblage of clips, Zoom interviews, conversations, and concerts from the participating brands and designers that will be edited into a full show. Through the support of official partners, DEFI, L’Oréal Paris, and DS Automobiles, this tradition is made virtually possible and available for guests to rewatch after it initially airs.

We have seen examples of online fashion shows such as Hanifa‘s groundbreaking digital debut, and are excited to see how this format works for Paris Fashion Week. Will Paris Fashion Week Women’s SS21 adopt this virtual platform as well?
