Pete Davidson to join HBO Max’s Third New Adult-Animated Comedy ‘Fired on Mars’

The Saturday Night Live star is to join a new adult-animated series

As HBO Max continues to create adult animated series with three new ones coming soon, Pete Davidson is so star in their new comedy, “Fired on Mars.” The animated show is an existential workplace comedy with a twist, it’s set only five minutes in the future.

Based on the 2016 animated short of the same name made by creators Nate Sherman and Nick Vokey, which is a strangely drawn animated short, appearing to be done with a computers paint option. There is a clear emphasis on existential, but it all hangs onto humor.

Set on the Martian campus of a modern tech company, the main character will be voiced by Davidson and is executive producers with Carson Mell, writer for Silicon Valley, and Dave Siru. This series goes along with the two new adult-animated comedies “Clone High” and “Velma.”
