Named ‘Hu’ for Health Ultimatum, Pharrell’s line with Adidas has released two more silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2020. This new capsule celebrates the spirit of 80’s basketball style and drops right in time for the NCAA Division I college tournament. 

The artist and sportswear brand have collaborated since 2016 under the HU series. For the latest collection, they have fused both new and classic adidas styles creating two stripped down designs in muted color leather. The first iteration, “Continental 80” is a new take on the Three Stripes classic. This version has been modernized with a pop of color in the shoe laces. The second pair is a high-top with rubber sole caps, named “Nizza RF” that also comes with bright laces.  

The cream-colored sneakers have a vintage aesthetic that gives consumers a break from the eccentric colors and styles that have dominated footwear design. For more news on Pharrell check out our interview with Jack Harlow.
