Pharrell Williams Reunites With Adidas To Embrace Universal Utility
The longtime collaborators have once again released an innovative new campaign for Williams’ creative platform VIRGINIA.

From the 2014 release of the Pharrell x Stan Smith ‘Solid Pack’ sneaker to the now iconic Hu Adidas NMD, Pharrell has called on the brand with three stripes at countless crucial intersections throughout his career. Now, as part of an ongoing partnership, Pharrell’s project VIRGINIA and Adidas are releasing the VIRGINIA Watermoc sneaker.
This release follows two previous partnership products. The first was the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish, a flamboyant silhouette evoking aliens on Earth. Then, the minimalistic Flat Earther, a clean, smooth sneaker. Now entering is the Watermoc, a truly amphibious piece of footwear made for both land and sea.

Inspired by an early-2000s Adidas shoe of the same name, the VIRGINIA Watermoc embraces Adidas’ heritage of outdoor exploration and adventure. The shoe is built for utility while retaining the aesthetic magnificence expected from a VIRGINIA product. The Watermoc sports a durable rubber lug outsole and a breathable mesh webbing, built for both the rockiest beach and the slickest dance floor.
VIRGINIA is a brand whose purpose revolves around community. Pharrell, a Virginian himself, founded VIRGINIA as a platform for all things creative. From live events, to music merchandising to, of course, fashion, VIRGINIA empowers, uplifts, and innovates in everything it touches.
