Set in the historic city of Florence, Pitti Immagine draws designers who emphasize modernity and globalization in fashion. Today, Pitti Uomo 89 has announced that Juun. J, Marco De Vincenzo, and Yosuke Aizawa will be the featured gust designers at the highly-acclaimed Florentine event (Jan. 12-15).

The first-ever Menswear Guest Designer from Korea, Juun.J breeds is inspired by the street. His unconventional creations, dubbed “street-tailoring,” welcome influences from military uniforms, Parisian cosmopolitanism, and Asian techniques. They evolve into rigid and futuristic silhouettes, to be showcased in 3D at Pitti Uomo. Juun.J has never presented in Florence before now.

The Womenswear guest designer hails from across the Tyrrhenian Sea, contemporizing “Made In Italy” with Fendi on his résumé. A performance by Sicilian designer Marco De Vincenzo will christen a new space for Pitti Imagine with a vibrant and colorful collection.

Adidas Originals by White Mountaineering will take over the Fortezza da Basso as the Designer Project. WM designer and Pitti veteran Yosuke Aizawa will revolutionize the functionality and design of Adidas with the technological aspects of his Japanese menswear.

Entitled PITTI GENERATION(S), Pitti Uomo 89 unites these three designers to highlight how “the speed of today’s life compresses and mixes personal and generational time between nostalgia and experimentation, going beyond global boundaries.”
