Prada’s FW18 menswear collection combines classic workman styles with bold padded outerwear, pop-art prints, and bucket hats a plenty. The first set of models who greet the runway are in unquilted puffy vests and jackets accessorized with what would be an ID badge hanging off the collars of the garments. Appearing next are a series of beautiful leather workman coats tailored to fall perfectly at the knee or waist, with detail stitching on the seams of pockets, collars, and sleeves. Further into the collection, Prada shifts into a brighter tone, adding cartoon-like prints like flames, bananas, and lipsticks on bowling shirts — none of which is necessarily comical.

The three most rousing looks, falling each in line with one another, are the trio of sleek skirt suits. A combination of everything that precedes it only monochromatic in bright pops of singular colors and paired with forearm length glossy leather gloves to complete the standout ensembles.

Closing the show, a very Men In Black ending occurs when models are donning almost costume-like, nondescript black attire that hones an FBI agent vibe, intimidating but not overwrought or cliche. It was a very uniform-esque Prada parade presentation indeed, one that is most definitely a standout and ready for Fall 2018.
