The men’s sneaker of the summer is here, and it looks a little familiar. The Prada house has revived an archival shoe from the 2000s, welcoming the Montecarlo sneaker back to the Prada shelves.
As first seen on Prada’s runway during the Spring/Summer 2005 show, the Montecarlo is being reintroduced two decades later as the versatile men’s shoe of the summer. The refurbished design carries the same 2000s style and attitude, with an antiqued finishing—the mark of the house’s signature innovative touch, and excellence in reviving past styles for contemporary wear.

Made of soft nappa leather, the Montecarlo silhouette is smooth and compact, a hybrid of technical design and thoughtful practicality for the everyday wearer. Its sleek, thin design with deconstructed soles delivers comfort for summer’s endless activities, while championing the people’s 2025 favorite: low-profile footwear. The visible top stitching adds an intricate detail to the effortless shoe while maintaining the Montecarlo sporty spirit.

Coming in five colorways of Black, Red, Green, Caramel, and Chalk White, the house also hinted at additional colorways and suede variations to be released in the future. But for now, you can find the revival of the Prada Montecarlo sneaker and its five colorways in Prada stores or at Prada.com.
