Raf Simons Pulls from Youth Culture for Fred Perry Collab

Mark your calendars for September 17th.

Filled with oversized woven shirts, chunky jumpers, and printed sweatshirts, Raf Simons reinterprets classic Fred Perry pieces with an ode to London’s most iconic music venue, the 100 Club. In the new collaboration, Fred Perry x Raf Simons, the Belgian designer, brings his distinctive design approach to Fred Perry’s archive styles.

Paying homage to the legendary UK venue, the collection includes t-shirts adorned with images from Fred Perry and Ditto’s book, 100 Club Stories. The book documents cross-generations of kids coming of age and using their clothes as a powerful tool for expressing their identity. The new collection embodies this energy and explores a more DIY nature of punk dressing. Infusing subculture and energy of youth, the recently appointed co-creative director of Prada, reworks the Fred Perry pique polo shirt in a way that feels fresh — overlaying the signature Raf Simons branded pin on cropped photographs.

The collection will launch on September 17 and be available on the Fred Perry site.
