As one of the most beloved American designers, Ralph Lauren is commemorating the 25th anniversary of his Snow Beach collection by re-releasing two nostalgic capsule collections. After the designer released the snow sports collection in 1993, the New York hip-hop scene fled to cop the colorful gear, all thanks to the Wu-Tang Clan.

The line’s ultimate success was driven by the youth in Crown Heights and Brownsville who began collecting heaps of Ralph Lauren’s sporty line. Cult items like a boldly hued parka stamped with the Snow Beach logo quickly became a hot commodity, and was worn by rapper Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan. Today, collectors are still pining for the collection and even spending $4,000 just to own one of the covetable parkas.

The first capsule collection will feature replicas of the 1993 sportswear pieces, including a parka, a red sleeveless jacket, and Cold Wave helmet and beanie—plus new iterations of rugby polos, a poncho, a belt bag, and sneakers. The second capsule collection will consist a six-piece menswear wardrobe in all black and white.

The Polo Snow Beach collection is available now in stores and online, and the Noir and Blanc capsule is set for release on February 1. See the campaign images and pieces below.
