Ralph Lauren Teams Up with Chinese Streetwear Brand, CLOT to Celebrate International Style

Releasing just in time for the Year of the Ox.

2021 is already chock-full of exciting fashion collabs and this one tops the list! Ralph Lauren is teaming up with Asian streetwear and lifestyle brand, CLOT, for an exciting new collection. The joint venture is a merge of international identities, paying homage to CLOT’s Chinese roots and Ralph Lauren’s classic American style. You won’t want to miss this limited edition line! 

CLOT x Polo consists of calming blue hues, royal navy tones and fiery reds for a bold statement. Ralph Lauren remixes its signature Americana style with frog-button detailing for a fresh take on the classic Polo shirt, Oxford shirt, Bayport Windbreaker and Chambray work shirts. The eyecatching Wool Toggle Varsity Jacket is a standout, highlighted for its deep red classic CLOT dragon chest patch for an innovative twist on the American closet staple. For a comfortable casual work-from-home look, the collaboration features a selection of tie-dye sweatshirts and all-over print cotton t-shirts, each accented with Ralph Lauren’s signature Polo decal and CLOT branding. The POLO Court Sneaker is reinterpreted in a perfect blend of CLOT and Polo branding. 

The campaign images, shot by Kenneth Cappello, are reminiscent of the ’80s and ’90s Polo Heritage ads interpreted through CLOT’s modern lens for a nostalgic mix of vintage and contemporary. CLOT’s meteoric rise in popularity over the past few years is due in part to genius collaborations between the Hong Kong-based label and other legendary brands including Nike and Stüssy.
