Ready, Set, Serve! Wilson’s Newest Tennis Collection
A year after entering the sportswear world, Wilson released their most premium tennis collection.
Almost a year after sporting goods company Wilson made their debut into sportswear, the brand released their most premium tennis collection to date. With a wide range of products varying in color, style, and fabric, the collection is designed to preform well at any skill level, both on and off the court.
A blend of fashion and functionality, the collection is rooted in classic tennis colors of green, navy, and white. It features both men’s and women’s pieces, from seamless shirts, to pleated shorts, to warm up pants and a varsity jacket. Select pieces feature the phrase “Wilson Sport Professionals,” designed to nod to the high standards which the brand holds itself.
“Over the last year we’ve listened to our consumers and know that they want even more functionality and innovation within sportswear, while not compromising on style to perform their best,” says General Manager and President of Wilson Sportswear Gordon Devin. “We believe this collection does exactly that; celebrating our rich history in the sport of tennis and inspiring the athlete in us all.”
In addition to the sportswear, Wilson created an exclusive issue Clay + Felt magazine, which celebrates both the sport of tennis and the brand’s move into sportswear. The magazine features exclusive photos of the new collection, as well an op-ed from Wilson Advisory Staff member and tennis legend Billie Jean King. Clay + Felt will be free with any purchase at Wilson’s New York and Chicago locations.
The brand will also have activations at tennis events throughout the summer, and at the upcoming US Open major tournament, where Wilson has been the official ball and racket stringer for over 40 years.
