‘Rick and Morty’ is Green-Lit for Season 6
Our favorite cartoon duo is making a comeback, confirmed by co-creator Dan Harmon.
Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon just revealed that the portal-hopping duo will return for a sixth season.
While discussing his virtual table read for Community, Harmon discreetly mentioned the upcoming season via Instagram. “One more magical thing about today: the script we’re reading, Cooperative Polygraphy, is by Community and Rick and Morty alum Alex Rubens, who is BACK at RaM writing on season 6,” the caption states.
The second-half of Season 4 returned on May 3rd, with only three more episodes left to air on Adult Swim. In regards to Season 5 of Rick and Morty, actor Chris Parnell confirmed that storylines are well into development for next season, but recording sessions are still to be determined.
“We have not started recording Season 5, but I know they have, certainly, episodes written and have it boarded to a certain extent. But I don’t know when we’ll start recording,” Parnell told IGN.
With a headstart on Season 6, fans will get to see more action-packed, hilarious events with Rick and Morty for two more confirmed seasons.
