Robyn Lynch Collaborates With Columbia For Spring/Summer 2022

The new collection was made using upcycled deadstock from the outdoors brand.

With pandemic restrictions being lifted in many parts of the world, it feels even more symbolic that Robyn Lynch is taking us outdoors with her new Spring/Summer 2022 menswear set. The capsule collection is part of the label’s NEWGEN debut and was presented on Monday at London Fashion Week.

Created in partnership with Columbia, the lineup features puffer jackets, windbreakers, shorts, and knitwear made by upcycling deadstock from the American outerwear brand, incorporated into Lynch’s signature style. The collection is presented mainly in neutral colors along with bold shades of red and green – reminiscent of the Irish designer’s homeland flag.

Some of the highlights are the lime green cinched parka and the signature cable-knit vests, which now include a pocket. Accessories include utilitarian bags in various sizes.

The sustainable-driven collection was presented with an ethereal short video, directed by Spencer Young, inspired by Lynch’s personal memories. The clip sees models walking by rock settings, a waterfront trail, and inside caves, while other images are projected onto the walls. The soundtrack was specially composed by Northern Irish musician Or:la.
