Saint Laurent Rive Droite and Hervet Manufacturier Bring Luxury Design to Woodwork

The fashion house channels a west coast lifestyle for their home decor.

Located in the sunshine of Los Angeles and the coolness of Paris are the two Saint Laurent Rive Droite storefronts. Gaining its name from the Saint Laurent rive gauche line that defined luxury and fashion in the 1960s, Saint Laurent Rive Droite focuses on expression, exchange, and lifestyle principles. The storefronts showcase a range of products, from exclusive pieces, vintage items, and art, they bring new items to the luxury market. For their newest collaboration, Saint Laurent Rive Droite looks to Hervet Manufacturier to create one-of-a-kind lifestyle items.

Known for their exquisite designs, Hervet Manufacturier uses materials from the Earth to create their furniture and decorative objects. They look to styles of the past and add their own intimate designs to each piece. For Rive Droite, Hervet Manufacturier creates a coffee table and decorative longboards.

The Hervet cousins take motifs from Saint Laurent to create the pieces. For the coffee table, they modeled the shape after a surfboard to play into the Los Angeles aesthetic. Made from birch, plywood, and oak, the table is an example of true craftsmanship. For the longboards, the Hervet cousins use a variety of exotic wood to create their intricate designs.

The coffee table and longboards are only available at the Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles. For furniture that exudes luxury and true skill, Saint Laurent Rive Droite and Hervet Manufacturier out do themselves with these limited pieces.
