No Matter How Long The Night Is, the video showcasing the new collection, recalls Vaccarello’s inspirations for the new looks—the materials, forms, and contrasting bright and dark colors evoking the blending of opposite worlds.

The Spring Summer 2021 Project combines augmented reality, videos, 3D lenticular imagery, a music playlist, street posters, hidden stickers, flags, photo walls and more in a multimedia connection of places from around the world, both digitally and physically; an impossible dialogue between imagination and reality, the evocation of unconscious desire.

It is curated by Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of Saint Laurent. Founded in 1961, the fashion house has become an icon for women’s and men’s ready-wear that embodies authority, modernity, and luxury—all encapsulated in the Men’s Spring Summer 2021 collection.

Stand out pieces from the collection include all that is bold, graceful, and provocative; an oversized straw hat, nautical-inspired jewelry with metal shells and feathers, and abstract, roughened floral patterns in striking hues of black and white, gold and crimson, rusted orange and robin egg blue. Pieces recall nature, modified: monochromatic flowers and cacti serve as accessories to languid, composed ensembles with vibrantly patterned shirts and blazers and crisp, neutral trousers.
