Shawn Stüssy Finds a Spotlight in the Dior Men’s Pre-Fall 2020 Campaign

The graphic artist’s designs decorate the Miami-inspired imagery

Dior just unveiled the campaign for its Pre-Fall Men’s collection, a range which was first presented at an exclusive runway show in Miami earlier this year. Shot by Steven Meisel, the campaign reimagines ‘60s Miami-inspired imagery coupled with Shawn Stüssy’s wavy lettering and blooming graphics. That same print found its way onto several shirts, sweaters, and hats throughout the collection as well as the staging for the show when it first debuted.

On Stüssy’s artistry, artistic director Kim Jones stated, “He has the confidence of line [work] that every artist we work with has. Doing our first show in America – to me, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and Shawn Stussy, are the most important American designers, along with James [Jebbia] at Supreme.”
