Siegelman Stable Returns to its Roots with the 2022 Hambletonian Collection

Model Camille Kostek fronts the campaign for the brand’s latest collection in partnership with the million-dollar horse race

The one-million-dollar Hambletonian race is back—and so is Siegelman Stable. Just a month after the sportswear and streetwear brand launched their mega-collab with Kygo’s lifestyle brand Palm Tree Crew, they’re debuting another signature collection. Dubbed the 2022 Hambletonian Collection, the latest capsule offers a reworking of the instant-classic pieces that made the 2021 Hambletonian Collection so popular.

The lookbook, starring Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Camille Kostek and model/entrepreneur Thai Richards, showcases the new collection in a serene, grassy setting. It’s a refreshing departure from the usual backdrop-and-studio-lighting style campaign—and a reminder that stables and racetracks are some of the brand’s primary inspirations.

From the famous horse-training stable it takes its name from to numerous partnerships with some of the biggest harness races, Siegelman Stable doesn’t let you forget its equestrian roots. Following the Siegelman Stable MO, Kostek and Richards are accompanied by horses in several of the lookbook shots. Other images see the models riding in a classic car or resting in the shade, all the while flaunting the crisp new merch from head to toe.

“Camille has a background in equine therapy, giving back to a program in Los Angeles, California that supports veterans. She expressed to me how she loved connecting to the horses while riding, bathing, and brushing them. When I learned this, the synergy was spot on for us to work together and create something we really felt strongly about,” brand founder Max Siegelman said in a statement.

The brand’s signature embroidered two-tone hat is among the capsule’s offerings, done up in a cheerful red-and-white colorway. Also included in the collection are a chic sweatshirt, matching sweat-shorts, a print T-shirt, and a white cap, making for a total of five items. Once again, a portion of proceeds from the capsule will be donated to an equine therapy program—this time, a Los Angeles-based organization chosen by Kostek.

Siegelman Stable’s iconography, the meat and potatoes of any streetwear brand, continues to be strong. The recognizable horse-and-carriage logo stands out on the collection’s two hats, embroidered under the brand’s name. A smaller version of the logo can be spotted on the front pocket of the sweat shorts and the back of the matching sweatshirt. The T-shirt trades the typical embroidery for a clean line graphic of a horse, trotting above the Hambletonian and Siegelman Stable names. As with the previous Hambletonian collection, the imagery references both the brand’s motifs and nods to the historic race.

Siegelman Stable’s 2022 Hambletonian Collection drops Friday, August 1 at 1 pm ET—one day before the 97th Annual Hambletonian race will take place at New Jersey’s Meadowlands Racetrack. The five-piece capsule will be available to shop exclusively at siegelmanstable.com. Having been worn by Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Future, Dwayne Wade, and other trendsetters, Siegelman Stable has cemented its status as a cult-favorite brand, and its limited-edition drops have a history of selling out. You’ll want to set an alarm for this release—or risk being left empty-handed.
