Celebrities collaborating with well-known fashion brands is nothing new. But a collection by STAYCOOLNYC and rapper/comedian Lil Dicky (aka David Burd) takes collaboration to the next level. 

While other brands suppress celebrity involvement, STAYCOOLNYC’s recently debuted capsule collection is shameless in showing off Dicky’s flying colors. If you didn’t know Dicky loved the Philadelphia Eagles or basketball — you will now. 

The seven-piece line (consisting of t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and one hat) puts Dicky’s personality, and sometimes face, directly on the clothing. One shirt shows Dicky finger-spinning a basketball while another displays him flying on the back of an eagle. 

Amin Adjmi, the founder of STAYCOOLNYC, launched the “chillwear” brand back in 2015 with the goal of creating a new genre of fashion. Working with Dicky marks the company’s first celebrity collaboration. Adjmi chose to work with Dicky because he has supported the company since its inception and he emulates the brand’s overall spirit.

“Each of the graphics you see in the collection were inspired by [Dicky’s] personality and overall vibe,” Adjmi said. “Our goal is always to put our unique spin on anything we work on and I’m confident we did that!”

STAYCOOLNYC and Lil Dicky will donate a portion of the line’s proceeds towards The Bail Project. Fighting mass incarceration for over ten years, the organization locates and provides bail funds to those financially unable.
