Takashi Murakami x Supreme Raises Over $1 Million For Coronavirus Relief

Providing financial relief to struggling families in need of emergency shelter, rental assistance, cleaning supplies and technology for remote schooling.

Two weeks ago, Supreme has teamed up with Takashi Murakami to support youth and families facing homelessness during the coronavirus pandemic. The dye has created a special COVID-19 relief box logo T-shirt with Murakami’s signature smiley sunflower graphics, donating 100% of the proceeds to HELP USA — a non-profit founded by Governor Andrew Cuomo in 1986.

Now, the brand-and-artist duo has raised over $1 million for coronavirus relief from sales of this collaborative T-shirt.

The shirt that replaced the red background of Supreme’s signature box logo with a print of Murakami’s smiling flowers has managed to bring in a total of $1,052,040 that will provide financial relief to struggling families in need of emergency shelter, rental assistance, cleaning supplies and technology for remote schooling.
