Take A Look At the Interior of SpaceshipTwo

The cabin that will carry thousands of people like you into space.

The first publicly-available space tourism company—Virgin Galactic—gives us a sneak peak of what it would look like to travel to space inside the walls of their SpaceshipTwo model. Designed in collaboration with Seymourpowell, the craft, also known as VSS Unity, was created to provide “a level of intimacy required for personal discovery and transformation.”

The cabin seats feature a 3D knit designed by Under Armour and a pilot-controlled recline mechanism to help passengers manage G-forces, which also creates an “unrestricted float zone” that allows them to enjoy weightlessness in zero gravity.

Another great feature for the hundreds, eventually thousands who will travel to this incredible destination, are the16 cabin cameras that will create high-definition images to share your space experience on Instagram posts and personal movies.

“This cabin has been designed specifically to allow thousands of people like you and me to achieve the dream of spaceflight safely – and that is incredibly exciting,” explained Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson. CEO Michael Colglazier, added that the cabin “will both facilitate and elevate a uniquely profound and transformational journey for the thousands who will fly.”

It was stated before that this flight costs $250,000 USD a ticket and only a limited number of people will go on this trip at the beginning, but soon hundreds more will all get to experience something out of this world, literally. For now take a look at the gallery below and check out the interior of the cabin that will change space travel as we know it.
