Gucci has a history of exploring new and creative avenues, and this collaboration is no different than that. For both brands’ anniversaries, Gucci and Xbox have partnered to bring their two worlds together: gaming and fashion. The limited-edition console and carrying case contains both brand’s signaturesGucci’s iconic motifs and Xbox’s sleek exteriorand embodies self-expression and creativity. Although entering the gaming industry isn’t the first for the fashion house, the collaboration marks a new endeavor for Gucci as they reach their centenary.

Combining Xbox’s futuristic aesthetics with Gucci’s lux designs, Gucci x Xbox is nothing but opulent. The result of the collaboration consists of an exclusive console that is laser-engraved with a GG-pattern. Matching in style is the console’s controller, which is black in color with a red and blue Web stripe wrapped around it. Both are minimal in design, yet eclectic at the same time.

But one of the most noteworthy pieces of the collaboration is the carrying case that comes with the gaming set. The case, inspired by Gucci’s archival luggage, also contains the red and blue Web stripe, and is covered with the famed beige Gucci Supreme canvas. Its yellow leather trim compliments the gold catches on the luggage, and matches the leather key holder and luggage tag wrapped around the handle.

Most of all, the eye-catching words, “XBOX” and “GOOD GAME,” are written on each side of the case in an electric greena color that is familiar to the gaming company and found in the case’s interior. The phrase “GOOD GAME” is what Gucci calls a “happy coincidence” between the two brands, as GG is a famous acronym for the fashion house, standing for founder Guccio Gucci, and the motto used during gaming.

This limited-edition set will be available on November 17th on Gucci’s website and select Gucci stores: New York’s Wooster, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Moliere Palacio de Hierro in Mexico City, Beijing SKP, Shibuya Parco in Tokyo and Gucci Circolo locations in London, Berlin and Milan.
