Taron Egerton, a British actor and singer, best known for his roles in the British television series The Smoke, the 2014 action comedy film Kingsman: The Secret Service, and most recently the film Rocketman celebrated his 30th birthday in style at the exclusive Casa Del Campo Resort in a $20 Million Dollar Luxury Estate ($10,000 per night).
Since the tropical haven opened almost 50 years ago as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa Del Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for selective travelers and celebrities around the world who appreciate the private gated community for its safe and exclusive setting.
Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is the #1 ranked course in the Caribbean. The activities are all world-class: 7 outstanding restaurants including the stunning new Minitas Beach Club, a Marina, Equestrian Center featuring Polo, Shooting Course, great shopping and 3 private pristine white sand beaches.
Coveted by Hollywood’s elite as the go-to vacation destination for secret hideaways, it comes as no surprise that Egerton and his girlfriend, director Emily Thomas, joined the list of A-listers who have enjoyed this tropical escape—including J. Lo, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, the Kardashians, Kanye West, Pitbull, and Pharrell Williams.
Egerton stated on Instagram, “I cannot think of a better way to spend the first week of my 31st year than in this gorgeous place. Thank you @casadecampodr and @godomrep for an incredible week. Stunning scenery and incredible people. Particular thanks to the incredible staff at this beautiful villa for making it a magical experience. I have never experienced luxury like it. The perfect way to celebrate my 30th birthday. Thank you!”
As if his 30th birthday celebrations were not enough excitement for the week, Egerton received shocking news while enjoying his vacation. The Rocketman star received a Grammy nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for the Rocketman soundtrack, in which he covered several of Elton John's biggest hits.
Not all of us may have the opportunity to receive news of a Grammy nomination from the shores of the Caribbean, but if you are interested in experiencing the view, you know where to go. The Dominican Republic is the most visited destination in the Caribbean and home to the best golf courses in the world. December 20th and 21st kicks off the sold-out Paradise Music Festival featuring headlining performances from Marshmello, Bad Bunny, Maluma, Martin Garrix, Tyga, Alesso, Guy Gerber, and Steve Aoki.
