Years before fashion had grabbed him, Hedi Slimane's vision of a new male ideal had already begun to form. This summer, an exhibition at Lisbon's Ellipse Foundation shows the faces that made a lasting impression. "Hedi is at the crossroads of visual arts, youth culture, and the fashion world," says curator Alexandre Melo. "He has a very relevant role in the emerging trends of the 21st century."
