The North Face Evokes 70s Vibes In New Ski Jacket

The new Larkspur Jacket brings retro 70s vibes to the modern explorer of the great outdoors.

The North Face unveiled the Larkspur Jacket today, a retro-esque ski puffer following its MM6 Maison Margiela capsule collection unveiled at fashion week.

The Larkspur Jacket encapsulates the grooviness of the late 70s, bringing ski wear from the era into a contemporary style with the brand’s innovative fabrics. With ribbed cuffs and hem for snow and wind protection, the jacket reimagines the nostalgia of skiing in decades past and equips the wearer with the modern protection, fit and look the brand is known for.

The raised and rounded collar protects from harsh weather, and the down baffle structure from The North Face’s original ski collection evokes its 70s inspiration.

The North Face also heeds to the environment it encourages its wearers to delve into and respect, too; the recycled polyester fabric with a water-repellent finish aims to incorporate environmental considerations into the jacket, while the “PRIMALOFT” GOLD LUXE batting is made from used PET bottles.

Available in bright orange, crisp black and chic taupe, the Larkspur Jacket is available in men’s and women’s sizing. Shop the drop in mid-October on The North Face’s website.
