After months of teasing, the Wayfarer Puffer campaign has officially dropped. Yes, you heard that right—Ray-Ban’s most iconic silhouette has been reimagined as a “puffer,” thanks to none other than A$AP Rocky.
This release goes far beyond a simple eyewear drop—it’s a cultural moment where hip-hop heritage collides with high fashion. A$AP Rocky puts his stamp on the classic Wayfarer by enlarging the frame’s edges, giving it the playful, padded look of a “puffer.” The result? A bold yet wearable twist on a classic, available in a range of statement shades—from hot pink and chili red to timeless black.

Fans first caught a glimpse of the design on fashion’s biggest night: Met Monday. A$AP debuted the sunglasses on the red carpet in a custom, ultra-premium version—black frames adorned with diamond-set rivets and topped off with an 18kt gold logo that gleamed with the confidence only A$AP could bring.
The campaign, conceptualized by A$AP and his creative team, was brought to life in his hometown of Harlem, NY. Street-cast locals—including artists and neighbors—star in the visuals, capturing the collection’s spirit of authenticity and individuality. These are real people with real stories—fitting the frame in every sense.

This marks A$AP Rocky’s second collaboration with Ray-Ban as creative director, following the debut of his first collection, “Blacked Out.”
The full Wayfarer Puffer collection is now available at Ray-Ban.com, Ray-Ban stores, and select EssilorLuxottica retailers including Sunglass Hut.
