The Weeknd Releases New Kenny G Remix of “In Your Eyes”

Collaborating with saxophone legend Kenny G, The Weeknd releases a studio version of their concert collaboration.

Friday just got a little sweeter. This morning, The Weeknd surprised fans with a new remix of his After Hours song, “In Your Eyes.” The new remix features a couple of ripping solos from none other than saxophone legend, Kenny G. Over the past year, Kenny G has emerged onto the music scene with a few big guest appearances.

The release comes two years after The Weeknd and Kenny G joined forces at the TIME 100 performance in late September. The track was first debuted during this performance when the Grammy award-winning artist was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020. Adding a sultry midnight vibe, the revived version of the song features three saxophone breaks from the Kenny G. This is not Kenny G’s first appearance on a major artist’s album. Last October, he was featured on Kanye West’s “Use This Gospel” from his highly popular, Jesus Is King album.

This is the second official remix of “In Your Eyes,” after the May 2020 version with Doja Cat, where she added a whole new verse to the single. Released with Doja’s version was an accompanying animated music video where the pair is featured in a futuristic universe.
