TOM FORD is adding a new timepiece to their roster: The N.004.

The third installment of the brand’s Ocean Plastic Collection, the N.004 is rooted in simplicity and minimalism. A progression of the refined structure and elegance from the classic 001 TOM FORD watch, the N.004 has a sleek new case design and a dial void of any numbers.

The small rectangular case design measures 27mm by 48.5mm, and comes in two colors: semi-matte black and while ocean plastic. The case was designed to aid the effortless exchange of the accompanying braid straps, which are made of 100 percent ocean plastic. Come fall, the collection will expand to include a recycled stainless steel case.

The TOM FORD Ocean Plastic collection is the result of Ford’s personal commitment to reversing the global plastic crisis, and in turn the general health of the ocean. Currently, 14 million metric tons of plastic waste sit on the bottom of our ocean floors, and 46 percent of that comes from thin-film plastic. The N.004 does not contain any virgin plastics, and the materials and packaging used can be traced directly back to the collection source. As such, each N.004 permanently removes the equivalent of 35 bottles of plastic waste from the ocean.

The watch itself is Swiss-made, developed with partners who are equally committed to saving the oceans. To further offset the environmental impacts of the timepieces, transportation of the ocean plastic granules used in the watches is carbon neutral, and the compounding of all materials in Switzerland is powered by solar energy.

The N.004 timepiece is available now for $995 on tomford.com.
