Travis Scott Launches ‘Cactus Jack x McDonalds’ Merch Line and Signature Meal

Houston rapper Travis Scott and McDonald’s team up to recreate a vintage campaign.

Just two days ago, Travis Scott launched his anticipated collaboration with McDonald’s. This is the first celebrity meal to feature in the McDonald’s menu since Michael Jordan in 1992.

As part of the partnership between the rapper and notorious fast – food chain is a $6 “go-to order” which includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, a medium fry with BBQ sauce, and a Sprite. There’s even a national TV commercial out for it! The meal option will be available at all participating McDonald’s through October 4th.

Also, part of the deal is a limited time Cactus Jack x McDonald’s custom apparel line which launched just hours after the meal. So far, the collection ranges from $48 to $90 (yes, the nugget body pillow is 90 dollars). It’ll most likely sell out before the burger does.

In the past, the Houston rapper has collaborated with other notable brands such as Fortnite, Nerf, and Uninterrupted, tapping into various artistic avenues of expression. This time around, his collaboration with McDonald’s also includes a ‘“charitable component” which according to both of them, will explore “opportunities to support charitable organizations during the month-long program.”

Also adding to the mix is the 6-foot tall “life-size cardboard cutout” of the Travis Scott action figure, which is currently being sold for $65.

You can check out some of the merchandise on their website, and watch the commercial below.
