Tyler, the Creator is Set to Release New Album Soon
After leaving a few clues, his sixth album is coming next week
Grammy award winner Tyler, the Creator has announced that his sixth album, “Call Me If You Get Lost,” will be released on June 25.
The multi-talented artist posted a video on June 14 on Instagram after a seven month hiatus of him kissing a girl while wearing adorable outfits only to find out she’s cheating on her boyfriend. The smooth music in the background suggested new music.
Two days later, Tyler posted a teaser to the first single and fifth track on the album, “Lumberjack.” The short video shows a sequence of events starting with Tyler talking about a plan to sled and chill as he eats a donut on his bed. The video then cuts to him rapping on top of a pile of luggage cases and then to a scene where Tyler is getting a manicure in his luxurious room. Another scene shows two versions of Tyler, one as an old man in a tux and the other possibly wearing his clothing brand GOLF WANG. The video then ends with Tyler going through with his sledding plan but ends up stuck in a blizzard.
Tyler then posted a mock passport on Instagram with his location set to Capri, Italy along with a cartoon of himself holding luggage cases with a caption that read: “CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: JUNE 25TH,” officially announcing the album coming out next Friday.
