UGG Celebrates Pride Month And The Trevor Project

Show your support this June (and year-round) with these equally colorful and comfy UGG styles

As Pride month approaches, UGG has released a campaign highlighting LGBTQIA+ individuals and creating a safe space for conversations surrounding mental health and inclusion.

Entitled “Feel Heard,” the campaign directly supports The Trevor Project, a nonprofit founded in 1998 dedicated to suicide prevention efforts among members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The organization provides free, confidential, 24/7 support over phone, text, and chat along with advocacy, research, and educational resources.

“We are honored to partner with The Trevor Project and support their crucial mental services for the LGBTQIA+  youth,” said Lindsey Dicola Dashoff, Senior Director, Global Brand Communications & PR. “Through our  ‘FEEL HEARD’ campaign and partnerships with activists like ALOK, we strive to de-stigmatize mental health and  establish a world where everyone should never feel the need to apologize for who they are or who they love.”

UGG donated a generous $125,000 to the organization alongside their Pride-themed launch. A series of photos against a bright green background features advocate, writer, performer and public speaker ALOK (they/them), model Chloe Vero (she/her), yoga teacher and artist Isa’ah (he/him), science teacher and model Sarina Moralez (they/them), and vintage collectors Robert and Orren (both he/him).

“The UGG brand’s generous support will help us continue scaling our 24/7 crisis services, in addition to expanding  our suicide prevention programs across advocacy, research, education and more,” said Shira Kogan, Director of  Corporate Partnerships at The Trevor Project. “Our research shows that LGBTQ youth feel empowered by  brands that are visible in their support of LGBTQ identities, and UGG’s new Pride-inspired styles offer a great way  to show support and celebration year-round.”

The gender non-conforming line consists of updated classics, with colorful fluffy and puffy sandals in new silhouettes and Pride-themed designs complementing apparel pieces that round out the cohesive collection.

On Tuesday, June 7, the “Feel Heard” campaign continues with a panel Q&A with ALOK and friends hosted by UGG and moderated by The Trevor Project. The event will be help at the UGG Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City and is open to the public.

Available now, you can shop the UGG Pride Collection year-round on UGG.com, UGG stores, and in select wholesale retailers nationwide.
