They’ve done it again. Uniqlo x JW Anderson Fall/Winter 2021 Collection makes its debut in a cozy chic way, this time drawing inspiration from classic British children’s author Beatrix Potter. Potter’s beloved children’s characters of Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny are depicted throughout the collection, featured on various pieces such as clothing, loungewear and home accessories.

“For me, this collection was really about embracing the season,” said designer JW Anderson. “I wanted something that felt very autumnal in a way, and that also felt quite like autumn in the British countryside. I wanted it to feel comfortable and worn. Almost cozy in a way.”

To say the least, the collection is cozy in all the best ways. Matching fleece sets are available with a three-quarter zip up with a tartan breast pocket and sweats with cinched ankles or a wide leg are essential for running errands or staying in with a warm cup of tea. 

Knits also play a large role in the collection, having their moment in various delicate collared sweaters, chunky cardigans, pullovers and joggers. These pieces stick to the fall color scheme of warm greens, burgundy and deep navy blues.

Outerwear includes quilted jackets with carefully constructed collars and pockets, offering the perfect top layer to an ideal layered outfit on colder days.

Tartan patterns in navy blues, whites, reds, greens and deep greens are featured in various pieces, including but not limited to pajamas, loungewear, blankets and socks.

Delicate knitted accessories of gloves, beanies and scarves with an intricately embroidered “JWA” in the corners are essential details in anyone’s wardrobe this season.

Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny are displayed in sweet scenes and foliage on pullovers and t-shirts. A digital book is also being released that features UNIQLO and JW Anderson collection with Beatrix Potter’s beloved characters being brought to life via augmented reality in 3D.
