The lavish hotel properties with 32 destinations in 20 countries, Aman Resorts International has announced the launch of a new sister hotel brand, Janu—luxury on a budget. Rooted in experience and exploration, the new properties will open in three locations, Montenegro, Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia and Tokyo, Japan.

Janu, the Sanskrit word for “Soul,” will offer scuba in the crystal waters of the Adriatic Sea, and a number of singular experiences in the name of wellness, wholeness and equilibrium. It will follow the same elegant design and hospitality that Aman visitors have enjoyed, but at a more affordable price. Aman room rates start at $1,500 per night, so Janu is said to offer rates below that standard.
