Get ready because Vetements is about to drop a limited-edition capsule collection with Star Wars. It’s the collaboration that no one saw coming but Vetements have announced that a 44-piece collection will launch later this month. The collection is “inspired by the most iconic Vetements pieces and the Star Wars legacy.” The co-ed collection will feature logocentric tees, oversized hoodies, dresses, heels, backpacks, and baseball caps.

The brand is keeping all visuals under wraps until December 12th when TsUM in Moscow will give shoppers the first chance to buy the limited-edition pieces. The luxury department store will be hosting a party and selling event in its parking garage. The collection will then be available worldwide from December 16. Vetements took to Instagram to share a list of global retailers stocking the collection.

The collaboration coincides with the release of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, which hits movie theatres this December. The film stars British Actress and former V cover star Daisy Ridley reprising her role as Rey, the orphan scavenger turned Resistance Jedi. “I had no sense of what I was getting into. No sense of what was really going to happen” said Ridley back in 2017. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was Ridley’s breakout role, her first major lead and It’s launched her career. Speaking on this new film Ridley commented, “I just don’t know if anything could top this one.”

The Vetements x Star Wars collection will be available worldwide on December 16.
