Virgil is Auctioning a Signed Pair of Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 4s for BLM

The yet-to-be-released sneakers will be up for auction on Deviation’s eBay page.

Virgil Abloh has donated a signed pair of his unreleased Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 4 “Sail” to Deviation’s ongoing raffle for Black Lives Matter. The shoes are currently up for auction on the music collective’s eBay page.

“[I] got together with some friends, each of us contributing to the sustained support of the Black Lives Matter cause and I’m auctioning an unreleased signed pair of these (with your name not mine per se),” wrote Abloh in an Instagram post on Monday.

The auction will benefit The Black Curriculum, an organization that aims for more Black British history to be taught in UK schools, and Inquest UK, a charity that provides support and expertise to people affected by state-related deaths.

The Inside/Out Fundraiser launched by Deviation on June 18 has already managed to raise thousands of dollars for the Black Lives Matter movement. Some items that have been auctioned off include original poster art from Plastic People, vinyl packs from Eglo Records, and a day in the XL Recordings studio with an engineer.

The Off-White founder’s contribution comes just weeks after backlash surrounding his $50 donation to bail funds for protesters and criticism for his remarks on Instagram about damage to stores during protests. Abloh posted a lengthy apology on Twitter, writing that he is “proud to stand in solidarity with every movement to eradicate racism and police violence.”

Abloh, who is also the artistic director of men’s wear at Louis Vuitton, then clarified the circumstances behind his seemingly small donation and revealed that he has donated much more to Black Lives Matter.

The Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” auction will be live until Thursday, June 25 at 6pm BST. The highest bidder will be able to choose their size and pick where Abloh signs. For a chance to win the iconic pair, visit Deviation’s eBay page.
