Last night, VMAN teamed up with Converse and the British Fashion Council for a party at the Ace Hotel Shoreditch, to start the S/S ’17 season of London Collections Men in style. And frankly, who better to kick off the festivities with than Converse, a brand universally recognized for their footwear?

Influencers from varying spheres turned out for the event: Radio Host, and television personality, Nick Grimshaw arrived early and made his way to the DJ Booth where designer Henry Holland was setting the musical mood. Later, Cozette McCreery, of menswear label Sibling, would step in to spin. HBO’s Looking actor Russell Tovey was seen sporting a shirt with designer Lou Dalton’s presentation date/location/time printed on it—talk about creative marketing.

On the event, our editor in chief, Stephen Gan, says, “At VMAN, we’re all about supporting emerging talent and designers. Now more than ever, it’s critical to support the younger generation because they’re the ones who hold the keys to the future of fashion—and right now, there’s no city doing that more than London. It’s for this reason that VMAN is so thrilled with the opportunity to partner with the British Fashion Council to celebrate this season’s London Collections Men shows, and to further nurture the talents of ‪tomorrow.”

All weekend, VMAN will be bringing you backstage to the best shows of LC:M. Check back daily for regular updates.
