Vroom Vroom: 007 Inspired Aston Martin

Aston Martin debuts two new vehicles in celebration of the upcoming James Bond film.

Aston Martin is celebrating the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die with two special edition vehicles: the Vantage and DBS Superleggera.

Both editions feature signature nods to the 007 franchise while maintaining a classic Aston Martin style. The film, which plans a theatrical release this November, will include at least four Aston Martin cars including the DB5, V8, super GT and the Aston Martin Valhalla.

“Creating a 007 Edition is always an exciting challenge as we work to develop and style a car that embodies the legend of James Bond,” Aston Martin Vice-President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman said. “It is an honour to apply carefully judged 007-inspired styling to our sports cars, which gives our customers the opportunity to own a unique piece of both cinematic and automotive history.”

The Vantage edition is inspired by the original Aston Martin V8 featured in The Living Daylights back in 1987. Available as a manual or automatic, this vehicle’s exterior features a mesh grille with chrome bezel surrounded by a Cumberland Grey paint color. Nods to the James Bond franchise are located inside the obsidian black leather and dark chrome car as the Vantage boasts a 007 logo on the center console.

True Bond fans will notice the 96.60 FM embroidered radio station frequency which references 007’s escape in The Living Daylights. Nods to Bond’s gadgets and weapons (rocket motor, missiles and lasers) are also equipped in the car as a laser-etched plaque.

The DBS Superleggera, which is featured in the upcoming film, is limited to just 25 production cars available all over the world. This limited edition Bond inspired vehicle has a “menacing road presence” with a V12 twin-turbocharged engine. The exterior of the DBS Superleggera is coated in a Ceramic Grey with a glossy black diamond-turned Y-Spoke 21” wheels. The DBS Superleggera is also equipped with a 007 fender badge.
