With a mere six weeks until the start of spring, outdoor fashion pioneer Woolrich has begun a seasonal style transition with its three-drop release of the Spring/Summer 2023 line. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s archive, the collection celebrates Americana culture, while reimagining the brand’s heritage with principles of versatility, design and authenticity.

Three distinct storylines – each with their own drop – represent the natural flow from pre-spring to peak summer fashion: Pennsylvanian Walk, American Road Trip and Lakeside Summer. 

Pennsylvanian Walk, the first capsule of the trio, draws upon playful florals and checkered patterns to reference the national flower of Pennsylvania, the Mountain Laurel. The capsule also uses eco-friendly materials and natural dyes for a sustainable fashion moment. 

Reimagined archival pieces include the quilted flannel check overshirt and the Aleutian vest, both of which offer youthful, fresh looks on classic spring staples. For a more playful option, look no further than the Pennsylvania quilted down vest which stitches together a mix of floral and check patterns for a seasonal touch. 

And even though Woolrich has its eyes on the spring season ahead, the capsule offers a variety of outerwear staples for braving the cold – in the wild and in the city. The Eco Taslan jacket becomes a go-to with its water repellent properties, puffer silhouette and a detachable hood for extra coverage.
