While Dev Hynes' stage presence is awe-inspiring in every capacity, he still managed to surprise his audience at Coachella yesterday with an acoustic cover of none other than Neil Young's timeless 1972 classic, Heart of Gold. The musician, who eventually continued his set with the likes of Lil Yachty and Tei Shi for a melodic recitation of Hope, a track off of his album Negro Swan. The album, only released last month, may have been its own cause of attraction; but the cover sure captivated audience members and the social media onlookers in equal measure.
