Watch: DaBaby ‘Find My Way’ Film

DaBaby and B. Simone are partners-in-crime for new music video.

DaBaby finds his way into the film industry with 2.3 million views in just under 23 hours. It is clear the artist is not letting a pandemic stop his phenomenal 2020 career thus far. DaBaby’s “Find My Way” blurs the lines between a short film and an extended music video.

Earlier this week, B. Simone and Baby broke Instagram for a day which sent troll sites rolling to conclusions. The two appeared booed up — the hype proving to be an effective marketing technique for the rapper’s film premiere. Directed by Reel Goats, fans were not wrong about the rapper and comedian dating… in the music video. Well-known for his creativity when it comes to music videos, his hit single “Suge” racked up over 221 million views, with “BOP” and “Vibes” ranked respectively within the millions. In an interview with Rolling Stones last year, DaBaby revealed he paid for every music video he had shot. Investing in himself and his creativity, the artist isn’t willing to settle for less when it comes to his brand.

While the Bonnie and Clyde inspiration isn’t a new concept, the new vocals in “Find My Way” hold viewers at the edge of their seats. No spoiler alerts — the action-led plot features “the couple” robbing small businesses across eastern California. In an opening monologue, the rapper reflects. “One thing I can say about life, certain situations make people do the unthinkable.”

The movie theater industry is temporarily on hold, but get comfy and enjoy the 10-minute film down below.
