Will Smith Announces Memoir Titled “Will” Set to Release This Fall

The multitalented man is ready to open up about his life story

Will Smith is ready to tell his life’s story in the memoir titled Will, set to release on November 9.

Penguin Press made the announcement on Saturday that the book is underway. The 52-year-old actor, film producer, and rapper shared pictures of the book’s cover to his 54 million followers on Instagram yesterday as well as behind the scenes of artist Brandan Bmike Odums creating the expressive cover.

The memoir begins with Smith’s tense childhood in West Philadelphia only to become one of the biggest rap stars of his era and then become one of the biggest stars in the film industry. With his success, most of Smith’s family also became stars in the entertainment work but didn’t exactly sign up for it.

The memoir will act as a result of self-knowledge, combining the genuine wisdom of universal value and a life story that is entertaining and even surprising. The book will be co-authored by Mark Manson, the author of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F(asterisk)ck. Smith will narrate the audiobook of “Will” from Penguin Random House Audio. The book can be pre-ordered at WillTheBook.com.
