That's right. For the affordable cost of 28 bucks, you can get your hands on the latest designer food item, The Rick Owens Cheeseburger. Exclusively at Freds Downtown, inside of Barney's downtown department store, the classic finger food coincides with Owens' "Subhuman Inhuman Superhuman" retrospective currently on display at Barney's on Madison Avenue. The head chef at Freds became inspired by the designer's unmatched world and decided to incorporate the establishment's eatery into the exhibition.

The Rick Owens Cheeseburger build is as follows: a brioche bun branded with Rick Owens' signature logo and local non-GMO beef topped with local non-GMO havarti cheese, caramelized onions, and garlic mayo. The cheeseburger is presented with a bundle of thick-cut fries, both wrapped in fennel-flavored licorice ribbon.

As the first of an ongoing designer burger series, The Rick Owens Cheeseburger is setting the bar high, and is available for consumption only until June 15. Get your hands on this edible piece of designer glory before it's too late.
