From political demonstrations, music videos, art pieces to even tech conferences, Animal Crossing is more than just a kid’s game—it has become a popular escape from our homes. And now with fashion in the mix your avatar can rock a good high fashion look, while attending a protest or simply hanging with friends. 

The fashion trend started out with players making replicas of Prada and other luxury brand pieces, but designers too, have been lured in by all the hype. Marc Jacobs, is one of the most recent designers who have joined the game. The brand partnered with @AnimalCrossingFashionArchive—an Instagram account dedicated to archive all the high fashion looks in the game—and created six looks for the avatars.

Some looks include the pink embroidered jumper, a blue and orange striped sweater, and a black, purple and blue coat. But Marc Jacobs is not the only label designing for the Animal Crossing characters.  Valentino recently dropped 20 downloadable styles taken from its SS20 and Pre-AW20 collections. Yaeji, DJ, producer and now designer, also launched an exclusive line of merch on the game last week.
