Kitsuné Opens Café, Gallery, And Cocktail Bar In Brooklyn

The Parisian meets Tokyo brand has premiered its latest spaces in Brooklyn: Café Kitsuné, Galerie Kitsuné, and a cocktail bar which are now open.

Kitsuné has opened their first café, Café Kitsuné Boerum Hill in Brooklyn. The Paris-meets-Tokyo brand’s new outpost was designed by its co-founder, Masaya Kuroki who’s inspiration stemmed from the area’s familial and spirited community. The location includes a white oak paneled counter, preserved historic brick walls, and embraces local materials. These elements come together to elicit a nature of modernity and warmth. The space also includes ready-to-wear, tableware, accessories, ‘Objets,’ a small épicerie to purchase its classic coffee beans, and homemade granola as part of its partnership with Brooklyn bakery shop Burrow.

The full oak-display serves as a partition for the café and restaurant, leading to Galerie Kitsuné at 108 Bond Street, a clean white space dedicated to exhibiting compositions by emerging artists whose designs span an array of mediums. The space also incorporates large street-facing windows that stretch the café’s length to show its tree-lined surroundings. A few doors down is its cocktail bar at 104 Bond Street that continues Kitsuné’s Parisian meets Tokyo ethos and will have weekly DJed performances.
