K-pop septet BTS is thanking their fans for sticking through their significant milestones with a new album.

As a follow up to BE (Deluxe Edition) released last November, the group will be releasing a revamped edition of this album titled BE (Essential Edition). It will include new twists and surprise gifts. Details regarding these new components are yet to be revealed.

What we do know is that the album will include the eight tracks previously included in the Deluxe edition: lead single “Life Goes On,” “Fly To My Room,” “Blue & Grey,” “Skit,” “Telepathy,” “Dis-ease,” “Stay” and “Dynamite”. And in true superstar fashion, they will be revealing their surprise gifts for fans one by one just before the album's release on February 19. If it’s anything like their ‘Deluxe’ edition, the new ‘Essential’ edition is sure to be as intimate and encouraging.

Those who are familiar with “self-directed” album BE (Deluxe Edition) will recall the candid album’s intimate approach to the uncertainty of the ongoing COVID pandemic. Over the course of seven songs (and one skit) featuring creative participation from the band members themselves, coupled with livestreams revealing the group’s formerly exclusive song production process, BTS depicted their frustrations but also hope at the height of the stagnating COVID 19 pandemic.

BE (Deluxe Edition) was a conversation inviting fans to look into themselves amidst this universal turmoil in order to find hope and emotional understanding. The BE (Essential Edition) will seemingly elaborate on this conversation by bringing something new to the table. In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait and see!

Earlier this week, BTS also announced an upcoming 2021 Winter Package via a promo video amid the snow-capped mountains of Gangwon-do, South Korea. Each member can be seen lighting a match in hope of better days ahead while also hanging out at a cozy ski resort. Check out the video below:
