Travis Scott Celebrates Astroworld’s 2-Year Anniversary

Two years and many chart-topping singles later.

Two years ago, in August of 2018, Travis Scott has taken the music world by storm with the release of Astroworld, his third studio album. The 17-track LP sports guest appearances from Quavo, Takeoff, Don Toliver, Gunna, Kid Cudi, Nav, Sheck Wes, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, Swae Lee and more, making for a truly chart-topping project.

With 2020 being marked by restrictions on gatherings and social distancing rules being imposed worldwide, the hip-hop artist has headlined “Fortnite” — the competitive video game-turned-brand platform — earlier this year, in lieu of the originally scheduled Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Needless to say, this is the coronavirus era of music events.
